Students and research teams are invited to submit posters showcasing projects that advance analytical methods, leverage AI, apply data‑driven insights, or explore interdisciplinary problem‑solving. Past showcases have included presentations from Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health, and more.
CADS Participates in 2026 AI in Teaching & Learning Symposium
Hosted collaboratively by Information Technology, Faculty Success, and CADS, the two‑day event brought together faculty, staff, students, and industry partners to explore practical and responsible approaches to artificial intelligence in higher education.

The TXST AI in Teaching & Learning Symposium brings educators and education professionals together for two days of collaborative exploration. Presented by Information Technology, Faculty Success, and the Texas State Center for Analytics + Data Science (TXST CADS), this faculty-led symposium creates opportunities to share practical applications and relatable experiences focusing on what works in today's educational settings. As we move further into the spring semester, the Center for Analytics and Data Science continues to support research, education, and engagement across Texas State University through a range of initiatives, including the Catalyst Research Showcase and TXST AI-Ready Office Hours.
TXST AI Ready Office Hours - Feb 25: AI Use in Public Health Research
These monthly sessions provide accessible just-in-time support for faculty, and student researchers who need quick guidance or structured help with AI-supported research tasks.

CADS Attends State of AI Innovation Showcase
This past January, representatives from the Center for Analytics and Data Science (CADS), along with several university colleagues, participated in the Austin AI Alliance State of AI in Austin 2026 Innovation Showcase.
TXST AI Ready Office Hours - Jan 28: Generative AI Fundamentals & Responsible AI Use
These monthly sessions provide accessible just-in-time support for faculty, and student researchers who need quick guidance or structured help with AI-supported research tasks. Each hour long session will feature short presentations on AI-Ready topics and time for consultation with the CADS AI Engineer.
Introducing the TXST AI Research Pathways: AI-Ready Initiative
This will be a coordinated, tiered initiative that prepares faculty, staff, and student researchers to responsibly use, apply, and innovate with AI across disciplines; from foundational literacy to advanced, funded research.
AI and data-driven methods are becoming fundamental to research across all disciplines. Texas State University (TXST) will support faculty, staff and student researchers to responsibly apply, evaluate, and innovate with AI. CADS, in collaboration with other university units, will co-lead a coordinated, scalable approach to AI research literacy; from introductory awareness to advanced methodological development. This initiative will include multiple panels, workshops, and efforts throughout the Spring semester and 2026 year.
