AI/ML Education Spring Series

CADS is hosting an AI/Machine Learning Education Series in collaboration with NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, and Mark III Systems. This bi-weekly free education series is 100% virtual and will include six sessions providing overview tutorials and hands-on labs. This introductory series will feature industry experts and does not require any specific background. Certificates will be provided at the completion of the series. Applied AI Summer Workshop

May 13th-24th at Texas State University, San Marcos campus

This workshop will enable attendees to participate in interdisciplinary AI research groups and to incorporate AI in their subject-domain curricula. This innovative summer school program will train participants with the skills necessary to harness the potential of AI within their respective domains effectively while conducting research and educating their own students. We will emphasize the use of open-source material to tackle common pitfalls encountered in AI data analysis pipelines, including data sampling, feature selection, normalization, garbage-in-garbage-out phenomena, and overfitting. This workshop is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Award No. 2334268.

HPC Summer Workshop

May 20th-24th, Texas State University, San Marcos campus

This session launches the High-Performance Computing (HPC) training program targeted primarily at faculty, graduate students, and research staff. These sessions will train participants in the use and optimization of the Texas State University on-site HPC and research lab infrastructure for utilization of AI methods. This workshop is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Award No. 2334268.

Data Science Certificate

We are honored to support the Data Science Pathways in the Zeus Platform. This is developed by Texas State University System professors thanks to the initiation by Texas State's Translational Health Research Center and funding by Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. This online micro-credentialling program is designed to create successful pathways to a degree, a certification, or even a fast-tracked career in this high-demand industry.
