Through our membership in the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, CADS is excited to offer a range of self-paced courses in Deep Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI to TXST students at no cost.

Data Science Certificate

We are honored to support the Data Science Pathways in the Zeus Platform. This is developed by Texas State University System professors thanks to the initiation by Texas State's Translational Health Research Center and funding by Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. This online micro-credentialling program is designed to create successful pathways to a degree, a certification, or even a fast-tracked career in this high-demand industry.

Applied AI Summer Workshop

The Second TXST Applied AI Summer Workshop trains faculty, post-doctoral researchers, and advanced graduate students (with faculty nomination) — especially from non-AI fields — in foundational AI methods. The program builds skills for interdisciplinary research and AI-integrated curricula, empowering participants to advance data analytics at TXST without external reliance.

High Performance Computing

Second TXST High Performance Computing (HPC) Workshop

Faculty, post-doctoral researchers, and advanced graduate students (with faculty nomination) are invited to explore high performance computing through TXST resources like the LEAP2 cluster. This workshop empowers participants to apply HPC and AI in their research and teaching, building advanced data analytics capabilities within TXST—without relying on external tools or funding.

AI Curriculum

The AI Curriculum Modules at Texas State University are an initiative by the Center for Analytics and Data Science (CADS), developed with funding from our NSF Expand AI grant. They are designed to AI education introductory,foundational and domain specific content.

AI/ML Education Spring Series

In collaboration with NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, and Mark III Systems, hosting a free, virtual AI/ML Education Series. No prior experience is required. Questions? Certificates awarded upon completion. Contact cads@txstate.edu.
