This workshop will enable attendees to participate in interdisciplinary AI research groups and to incorporate AI in their subject-domain curricula. This innovative summer school program will train participants with the skills necessary to harness the potential of AI within their respective domains effectively while conducting research and educating their own students. We will emphasize the use of open-source material to tackle common pitfalls encountered in AI data analysis pipelines, including data sampling, feature selection, normalization, garbage-in-garbage-out phenomena, and overfitting.
