The Center is involved with research streams including crime analytics, disaster response, health care, adversarial defense, culturally responsive data science, agriculture, transportation, and sports. The core team has past and current external funding from federal agencies including National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, US Department of Agriculture, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, US Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, US Department of Transportation; state agencies including Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Department of Health and Human Services and industry partners including AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, among others.
