Texas State University Center for Analytics and Data Science (TXST CADS) was officially launched in September 2023. This website provides information about the activities of TXST CADS.

Call for CADS Research Grants - Closed

All Texas State faculty members with full-time, continuing nine-month academic appointments, that conduct analytics and data science methods and applications research are invited to submit an application for CADS Research Grants. We aim to provide seed research funding to enable TXST faculty to become competitive for external funding opportunities. This is expected to kickstart multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research streams that would support the TXST CADS core research activities. The deadline for applications is December 22^nd, 2023, and please see the official call for details. 

TXST CADS team has received an award from the National Science Foundation entitled “Expanding AI Curriculum and Infrastructure at Texas State University to Advance Multidisciplinary Research and Grow a Diverse AI Workforce”. Anticipated funding totals $400,000.
